Nutrition: Butternut, carrots and sweet potato are rich in vitamin A and a source of vitamin C. Vitamin A is an essential vitamin for immunity and promotes vision and eye development. Broccoli is rich in fibre and is a good source of vitamin A, C, K and zinc which helps aid with the absorption of iron. It is also a good source of calcium to help with bone development. Potatoes are a source of energy and provides vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B6, C, potassium, folate and magnesium. Apples and pears provide fibre, vitamin C, potassium and magnesium. This fibre rich fruit can assist with constipation.
